Introduction
My name is Zoie Jones, I am a first-year Early Childhood Education major from Philadelphia, PA.
Mindset
I believe that I am a very open-minded person. I am always trying to experience new things and push myself outside of my comfort zone. I plan on applying this mindset while being a student in this class. I hope to learn more about the history and origin of African American music.
Experience
I have some experience working with music. I have played the viola and piano in the past. My mother also has been playing the piano since a young girl. Music is definitely something that has played a big role in my life.
