Kierra Valencia “KiKi” Sheard is the daughter of gospel singer Karen Clark Sheard (member of gospel singing group The Clark Sisters and the granddaughter of gospel choral director Mattie Moss Clark. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 20, 1987. She began singing at age 6 at her father’s church Greater Emmanuel Institutional Church of God in Christ. She made her professional debut at the age of 10 performing on her mother’s album. She is a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where she received her bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in psychology. Since her professional debut she has been featured on several gospel and secular albums. Kierra Sheard has also put out 4 solo gospel albums
