The performance by the Spelman and Morehouse Glee Club was a beautiful monument to the power of music and harmonizing voices. With the first notes that rang out, it was evident that something absolutely spectacular was about to take place. The Spelman and Morehouse Glee Clubs’ voices melded beautifully, creating a captivating tapestry of sound.The music were intriguing and intelligently chosen, joyful gospel spirituals, which connects to what we have been learning in class. There was a genuine connection between the members of the Glee Club, obvious in the way their voices seamlessly linked, whether they were singing in unison or weaving intricate harmonies. The Spelman and Morehouse Glee Club had sung beautifully, not just with their voices, but with their hearts and souls.
