She started writing songs at 9 years old, and rapping at 11 in a girl group called Pink Mafia. She graduated from Baker High School in May 2018. She grew up listening to artists like Jill Scott, Anthony Hamilton, and Erykah Badu.
Her big break
In 2018, Flo Milli recorded her freestyle sampling the song “Beef” by Ethereal featuring Playboy Carti. The song went viral on TikTok and was number two on Spotify’s Viral 50 in 2019.
In 2019, Flo Milli released “In the Party,” which went platinum in the United States.
