For the first time in 17 years, Andre 300 release an album. Different from what many had expected including myself, he continues to break barriers just as he did 20 years ago.
My Opinion of the Song
When the song first started it reminded me of songs that people may play at a funeral or wedding. The song starts off with strong cords but immediately smoothens out for a soften tone. It has a certain sleep feel to it that just makes you loose sight that the song is even on. At the beginning he keeps the instruments to a minimum but also manages to add different sounds here and there. I feel like the song has certain jazz aspects as far as its rhythm, its complex chords, and irregular beats, and melody. This could possibly be labeled as free jazz fusion.
