EARTH, WIND & FIRE

Earth, Wind, and Fire were founded in Chicago by Maurice White in 1970. The members of this band included Maurice White, Phillip Bailey, Verdine White, Larry Dun, and Al Kay.  During their concerts, they were always known for their falsetto singers and the deeper vocals in the group. This was because they had such a big contrast between the two tones of voices. Some popular songs were “ Shining Start”, “That’s the Way of the World”,  “Devotion”, “Reasons, “Sing a Song”, “Can’t Hide Love”. “Getaway, “Fantasy”, “Love’s Holiday”, “September”,  “Boogie Wonderland”, and “Let’s Grove”.
