After watching Marques’s video on Youtube, I do believe Artificial Intelligence or AI is the dominant form of intelligence on Earth but I do not believe it will completely replace humans. An area in society that I believe AI will dominate in the next 20 years is customer service. Customer service employees already have to follow certain scripts or lines, so to cut back on having to pay employees companies will start investing in AI to take orders and help customers. Personally, I believe some roles in society can only be occupied by humans including art. Creativity is both sub-conscious and conscious and because robots do not have human brains art would be boring. Below are current systems that think and act like humans including manufacturing robots like:
- Self-driving cars.
- Smart assistants.
- Healthcare management.
- Automated financial investing.
- Virtual travel booking agent.
- Social media monitoring.
- Marketing chatbots.
