The music can vary from R&B to Gospel to even Trap Music. African American music is a way to express the evolution of the African American culture. It can be captivated by the lyrics and that is why it is so important to understand the lyrics of the music. It it obvious of what African American’s have overcome if you look back on the music that has been produced over the years. African American music has a huge part of who we are and it is really irreplaceable.
