Techno

Techno is a genre that sounds like its name technology. It gives you a feeling of electricity which is what all technology needs. Techno is a genre of electronic dance music. Techno originated in Detroit, Michigan in the mid-to-late 1980’s. Techno was a combination of African American music style with a mix of funk, electric, and jazz. Within techno there are multiple instruments used such as synthesizers, drum machines, digital audio workstations, and sequencers. Techno is a very intersectional genre where you have acid techno, Detroit techno, ambient techno, and industrial techno.
