Tech? NO!

Techno is definitely my least favorite genre. I just can’t get to liking it. Techno music first originated in Detroit Michigan in the late 80’s. Techno combines funk and Jazz music together to form an electric genre popular for dancing. It is believed that the Belleville Three are the originators who made the blueprint for techno to be what it is today.
Techno is influenced African American genres including soul, jazz and funk. Techno is usually characterized by a repetitive instrumental used by a DJ. From it’s rise as a popular party genre in the United States, techno spread to the rest of the world, becoming popular in party scenes in countries such as Germany.
