The Spelman Glee Club performed dozens of songs that touched the hearts of many.3 hymns that stood out the most were, ‘Wade In The Water’, arranged by Kevin Johnson, ‘A  Choice To Change the World’, written by Sarah Stephens, and lastly ‘Great and Glorious’ sung by Morehouse.  Together their angelic voices echoed in the arena, embodying dozens of emotions, and musical ideations, keeping listeners at the edge of their seats.

The soloist in Glee Club does a phenomenal, demonstrating her range, vocal control, and the intense emotions this song requires. Her fellow club sisters did an equally amazing job in supporting her with balanced harmonies and rhythm

A Choice to Change the World’, given the lyrics, this song was intended to empower individuals to make positive choices in the world that contribute to a better society. The rhythm section does a wonderful job of giving this song an uplifting feeling.

The melody complements the message, inspiring a sense of hope and determination. Overall, the song serves as a rallying cry for collective action, reminding us that each person’s choice can shape a brighter future.

Great and Glorious” is a hymn written to exalt the name of God. Morehouse members magnify this work of art through vocal blending, amplification, and body posture, creating a powerful and immersive worship experience.

As they sing, their body language reflects reverence and passion, embodying the message of the hymn. This physical expression, coupled with their rich vocal harmonies, invites the congregation to engage more fully in the worship experience.

In conclusion, the fusion between SpelHouse Glee Clubs and the Tabernacle was a divine gift. This is a show that you would not have wanted to miss. I commend the time and effort that went into making this collaboration and tour possible. The seamless blending of voices, styles, and cultures created an unforgettable experience that resonated with everyone in attendance.
