September 9th, 2024 our very own world renowned Spelman Glee club performed at the State Farm Arena. Alongside them was Morehouse’s Glee club and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. These three choirs came together to deliver beautiful harmonies and melodies. This was a powerful and defining event for the brother and sister glee clubs. Throughout the concert I found myself with my jaw dropped in amazement of the complex arrangements. Doc of course brought some flavor to the concert by having “Wade in the Water”, “Children Go Where I Send Thee” and “A Choice to Change the World” in his setlist.
