Hi! My name is Soleil Vailes, and I am a first year Photography major. I recently graduated from an arts boarding school in Massachusetts, where I studied as a visual arts major throughout my entire high school career. There, I fell in love with Darkroom Photography and decided that I wanted to travel the world, sharing stories of marginalized individuals from across the globe. I was lucky enough to start this journey during my sophomore year when I landed a feature in the Boston Globe after obtaining an American Visions Award nomination. Today until January 7th, I have work on exhibit right here in Georgia as a selected artist to be part of Union City’s “Creative Exchange.”
