Simone Ramsey-Ray
Im a sophomore psychology major with a concentration in mental health, from Los Angeles, California. I have a passion for adventure and travel, thus far I have seem six countries outside the United States including, Cuba, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Mexico and others. I aspire to live my life with intention with a specific interest in following my passions in art and cultures. I often find myself living in my own world of sound and color. Forced to be present in the reality of life and academics. I am a fairy.
My Future Plans: I plan to finish my education at Spelman College. Following my graduation I will take time to myself to explore non academic interest such as traveling and language acquisition. After a sabbatical of one or two years I will continue my higher education pursuing my masters degree in child psychology, then followed by my doctoral degree in psychology. my dream being to become a child psychologist.
Things I pour my soul into
My hobbies are ever changing and evolving. My creative passions following all sorts of inspiration. Branching from music, song, instrumental, to drawing, painting and collage. On into the finer crafts of handwork; sewing, knitting, crochet, needle point and cross stretch. I’ve lost myself in more textile arts such as ceramics, woodworking, quilting and beadwork. I have explored more physical arts such as dance, excesses, hiking, camping and backpacking. I am driven by a passion for adventure and sensory exploration. Life is too short to be devoted solely to one task.
