Shelbi Long

Shelbi Long

My name is Shelbi Long. I am currently a Junior here at the illustrious Spelman College. I am a political science major with a minor in management and organization on a pre-law track. I am from Wilmington, North Carolina. In my spare time I am typically enjoying the company of my friends, watching tv, at a meeting, or just being alone. One of major values is family. I really enjoying being in the company of those I love. Being around my family makes me feel safe and at ease. They truly bring out the best in me. I enjoy traveling, and hope to continue studying abroad. I have studied so far in Costa Rica and Morocco. In the future, it is my hope to become a sports and  entertainment lawyer. At a young age, I knew that I wanted to be a lawyer, however, it wasn’t until I became a little older until I realized that being in a courtroom day in and day out wasn’t for me. I don’t want to be just a lawyer. I am also interested in Communications, HR and Diversity and Inclusion.
