Robert Johnson

Robert Johnson

Born in 1911 in Mississippi, Robert Johnson, who was born into a poor family, grew up learning to sing and play guitar. His contemporaries and audiences alike said that Robert Johnson could not play guitar no matter how much he practiced. But still, he became one of the world’s most renown Blues men and between 1936 and 1937 recorded 29 different songs before his death in 1938.
