Evolution of Gospel through the Decades
Gospel Music Through the Years (1920-2020) 1920 “He Is My Story” by Arizona Dranes is an example of traditional Gospel music from the late 1920s.
Even though R&B was established in the 1940s, its music is still very alive and relevant today. Contemporary R&B artists are women and music groups. R&B transformed itself and adapted to the change in times; the music from every stream is unique and innovative. This genre of music consists of rhythm, blues, and soul. All of these songs tell stories about love, life, struggle, and any other emotion a person can go through. Personally, I enjoy streams 3-5 the most; I grew up listening to all kinds of R&B music and artists.
