Jazz

Jazz is a mixture of blues and ragtime music. Jazz emerged in the booming city of New Orleans, Louisiana in 1895. New Orleans was composed of a massive melting pot of French, Italian, African, Caribbean, English, and many others making up the population.

 Jazz was used as an emotional outlet to allow artists and listeners to express their joys and pains through dancing. Later Jazz transitioned with multiple types of Disco, Funk, Soul, R&B, Pop, and Hip-Hop.
