Greetings,
My name is Leah Wardaw. I am a Sophmore Political Science major from Virginia. I am taking this class to fulfill my requirement for an arts elective. This being said, I am genuinely excited for the opportunity to expand my understanding of music. My wish is that this class will bring to me, a more nuanced understanding of the beginnings and influences pertaining to African American music.
As an autodidactic learner with a passion for engaging and esoteric studies, I reserve my time towards research that will allow for my propulsion into the legal profession. In doing this, I have developed a passion and aptitude for research and providing analytical and innovative approaches to new information and hope to incorporate that into this course.
