Hello, my name is Ava Challenger
Hello, my name is Ava Challenger. I am a junior Dual Degree Engineering major studying mathematics and Aerospace Engineering from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After getting my Ph.D in Aerospace Engineering, I plan to work at NASA to design new spacecraft that will teach us more about our universe. I hope that, one day, my contributions in the aerospace field will be so great that something will be named after me!
Outside of school, I love to sing, perform in and watch musicals, go on long bike rides, and go to PlayaBowl with my friends. A few more facts about me include:
- I have two older sisters and a twin brother who attends Morehouse
- Both of my parents are engineers
- I was a lifeguard and children’s swim instructor and it was one of my favorite jobs.
- I starred as Queen Elsa in a production of Frozen
- I used to be a 1 meter springboard diver in high school
My favorite artist right now is probably Halle Bailey. She just started releasing her own music apart from her sister and I love every song.
My Music
My favorite song at the moment is Stuttering by Jazmine Sullivan. I heard it in the Spelman Cafeteria the other month and it has been on repeat ever since!
