Hi everybody! My name is Houston Smith and I am a Sophomore Pre-Med Comparative Women’s Studies Major with a minor in Psychology and Public Health from Prince George’s County, MD. I am somewhat of a music connoisseur. I listen to about anything and everything(except for classical, Rock, and Country). I open my ears to other genres outside of my comfort zone only if my favorites made songs in those genres. Beyonce is somebody I will go to bat for amongst others(Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Micheal Jackson, Janet Jackson, and more). Excited to learn about the connections between different genres within African American Music.
