Tasha Cobbs By Tyria Gilmore

 

Born on July 17, 1981 In Jesup Georgia. She began her career as a worship leader at her fathers church. She then joined another church in Atlanta, Georgia. She then moved her talents and to dReam center church in Atlanta. In 2019, Cobbs and her husband, Kenneth, founded The Purpose Place Church in South Carolina, where they serve as co-pastors.

Tasha Cobbs has been impactful to not only the Gospel Community but the Black community because she ensures to advocate for Mental Health. Mental Health was something that she battled with for a very long time and she made sure to prioritize this in order to create her wonderful albums because she believes her music changes people from the inside out. She always relays the message to her fans to always put God first and never ignore your feelings or heart.
