Who Is Giveon?
Giveon Dezmann Evans better known as Gievon, is an African American R&B Singer. Gievon was born on born February 21, 1995 in Los Angelos, California. Giveon grew up with 2 other siblings while being raised by a single mother. Giveon always had a passion for music starting at a very young age where he would sing at birthday parties, and different functions. As Giveon grew to gain fame and followers, he always thanked and credits his mother for pushing and investing in his love for music, and also for protecting them from the violence that was in his community. One of Giveon’s inspirations was Frank Sinatra, where he fell in love with his music, and voice at a music education program called grammy museum in High School
Professional Career
In August of 2018 Giveon self released his debut single named “Garden Kisses”. After releasing his debut song he was recognized by a Canadian Record producer who eventually signed him to his label, Not So Fast and Epic Records. After signing to the label he released one of his original songs “Like I Want You” After the song was released he started to gain more fans, and recognition. where he gained much more fame. In 2020 Giveon Released his Album “Take Time” where it topped the Billboards Heatseekers chart earning Giveon his first charting project. Take Time eventually earned a grammy nomination for “Best R&B Album” Gievon also had his first Billboard charting single when he released a song with Drake named “Chicago Freestyle” where it reach #14 on the Billboards top 100. On February 27, 2021, Giveon earned his second and third Billboard entries with the songs “Heartbreak Anniversary” and “Like I Want You”
