Erin Alford’s IME

Hi, my name is Erin Alford. I am a sophomore, political science major from Atlanta, Georgia. Following my grandmother and mother, I am the third generation in my family to attend Spelman College.

My mindset for the Spring 2018 semester is to continue to excel academically. Given that a few months from now I will complete my sophomore year, I anticipate on finishing strong. Along with academics I wish to maintain a balanced social experience.

Prior to enrolling in this class I have not had much exposure to music outside of what I choose to download on my phone. I have never played any instruments, or been a member of a music group or club. My experience related to music has always been something of leisure. Listening to it helps to keep me moving, while making the time pass a little faster.
