"All I Have" By: Amerie

The album entitled “All I Have” by artist Amerie is the artist’s second studio album, released in the year 2002. The album highlights a mixture of uptempo tracks alongside, slower songs. The album can be characterized by funk and soul genres. I particularly admire the track titled “Why Don’t We Fall in Love”. I love Amerie’s gorgeous voice and I think that she’s an underrated artist. In my opinion, she deserves more recognition than she receives.

"Trip" By: Jhene Aiko

The album entitled “Trip” by artists Jhene Aiko was released in 2017.  The album is identified by themes of the neo-soul and r&b genres, Aiko does an amazing job at softly singing as she juxtaposes strength and tenacity beautifully alongside each other. I love Aiko’s vulnerability as she highlights the loss of her brother and her grappling with grief, with love songs and expressive melodies. Jhene is easily one of my favorite artists for this very reason. I think this album is a wonderful listen all around.

"Anti" By: Rihanna

The album entitled “Anti” by Rihanna was released by the artist in 2016. The album features a mixture of R&B and hip-hop genres. One of the most notable tracks on the album is entitled “Work”, but other popular songs include “Kiss it Better”, “Needed Me”, and “Love on the Brain”. I personally, love the track “James Joint” on the album. Rihanna is one of my favorite artists and this album is on constant rotation for me.
