Earth, Wind & Fire one of the most successful funk bands of the 1970’s performed live at the Greek Theater in 2004. The performance in Los Angeles, California proved to be a world-class performance. Specifically the performance included, a strong bass guitar, electric guitar, trumpet, and an array of melodies. However, the recording of the concert focused primarily on the playing of the instruments. I enjoyed this because you could feel the motion of the sounds of the instruments more clearly.

I also enjoyed the style of the performance, it wasn’t heavily choreographed but well planned. The style of the band’s clothing was also unique to the funky group. Their  attire added to the dimensions of the creativity of the concert and performance. Earth, Wind & Fire have been innovates for funk, soul, disco, and pop music. Their musical influence still reigns even decades later.
