Disco
Disco also known “dance music” emerged in the 1970’s. Its sound comes from elements of R&B and funk. This style of music influenced clothes, and represented freedom and liberation. It gave the LGBTQ community a sense of acceptance. It incorporates a four-on-the-floor beat with the bass guitar as the rhythm instrument with an upbeat tempo.
