Dipper Mouth, Cannonball, Jug, Count, Firstlady (Jazz)

Jazz originated in the late 1920s and early 1930s after Ragtime. This genre originated in New Orleans, Lousiana near Congo Square.

There are several types of Jazz such as:

Classical, Modal, Swing, Traditional, Free, Bebop, etc.

It was about having Ideas in your head and the things you know that come to you and bring it into the music.  Common instruments used to make the music come alive were saxophones, trumpets, trombones,  bass, drums, guitars and pianos. Each jazz musician has their own particular sound and they use instruments as an important key to their sound.
