It also gave the Civil Rights Movement some push
To make the African American’s rights understood.
The Whites tried to imitate
But everyone knows that African Americans initiate
As time went on African Americans became known as Black
And we all know that Black don’t crack
In 1969 Summer of Soul was a celebration of Black Pride
Many popular Black Artist shared their music to make Black people unite
Black people embraced their African culture
Which made Black people see their lives for the first time in colour
